ACE Sets Up New Role To Back Major Risk Claims Service In UK

Ms. Murphy, in the newly created role, will supervise the claims service and maintain the current claims relationships with Major Risk clients

ACE European Group (ACE) has appointed Catherine Murphy in the newly created role of ‘Claims Client Relationship Manager’ for its Major Risks business.

Ms. Murphy will supervise the claims service, as well as maintain the current claims relationships with Major Risk clients. Her appointment continues ACE’s focus in this area and follows the recent appointments of Jeff Carr and Shaun Edwards as Client Relationship Managers in the Major Risks team.

Phil Sharpe, director of Casualty and Major Risks, UK & Ireland, said: “We are focused on customer service and establishing the major risks sector as a key segment for ACE. Part of this will be our ability to deliver a claims service that supports and informs clients throughout the whole process. Creating this new role will enable us to fully achieve this aim.”

Ms. Murphy joined ACE from RSA, where she worked for 11 years in various roles across Underwriting, Global Services and Claims.
