Ace Private Risk Services, part of the ACE Group, has expanded its Platinum Portfolio policy, designed to meet the insurance needs of affluent and high net worth individuals and families, to Colorado.

According to Ace, the policy provides coverage for homes, vacation properties, automobiles, watercraft, jewelry and other valuable collections, and excess liability protection that offers the savings of a package discount and the convenience of one bill.

In addition, the company also appointed Clare Schachter, CIC, as territory manager for the state. She will have overall responsibility for the appointment and management of independent agents in Colorado, and will promote the benefits and advantages of the company’s Platinum Portfolio policy.

Ms Schachter has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance arena, including marketing, product development, underwriting, client sales and service positions. She also served as a director on the board of the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado.

Steve LoCascio, regional vice president of Ace Private Risk Services, said: Achieving success in a state as instrumental to our growth as Colorado requires a combination of comprehensive products and services, and the right talent to lay the groundwork for our agency force in the state.

“Clare’s proven leadership and extensive background on both the agency and carrier sides of the business gives her a balanced perspective in enhancing the understanding and use of Ace PRS products and services.”
