For supervising ACE’s London corporate casualty portfolio

ACE has appointed Tom Hillier as the corporate casualty manager for London. Mr Tom will report to Graeme McGeachie, corporate P&C underwriting manager, southern region.

He will be based in ACE’s Leadenhall Street office.

This appointment follows the announcement of a new operating structure for ACE UK in September of this year consisting of two new segments, corporate and major risks. Mr Tom will be responsible for working with brokers and managing ACE’s London corporate casualty portfolio.

Mr Tom joined ACE’s UK and Ireland environmental risk team in 2005. He helped to establish and grow ACE’s environmental offering across the region, resulting in growth in business since it was established.

Pat Drinan, director of corporate risk at ACE UK, said: “Tom’s appointment is an important step as we grow our Corporate team in the UK and Ireland. Our corporate casualty department has a strong track record in London, so this appointment further compliments the team already in place and supports our desire to promote talent from within into key roles.”
