The Ace Group of insurance and reinsurance companies has formed Ace Commercial Risk Services division to provide specialty products and solutions for small businesses in North America. Dennis Crosby has been appointed chairman of Ace Commercial Risk Services and David Lupica has been named president of this new division.
According to Ace Group, Mr Crosby will oversee the development and launch of Ace Commercial Risk Services in addition to his current responsibilities as president and chief executive officer, Ace Westchester. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has held several senior leadership roles since joining the company in 2004.
David Lupica will lead all strategic operations including marketing, underwriting and producer management. He will oversee the company’s commercial business as well as the delivery of its specialty products and services to small businesses through wholesale, retail, managing general agent and alternative distribution channels.
John Lupica, chief operating officer of Insurance-North America, said: “The formation of Ace Commercial Risk Services underscores Ace’s commitment to small businesses. We will customize and expand the specialty products and industry expertise that have distinguished Ace in the large and mid-size account markets for the last 25 years. Dennis and David will be instrumental in the long-term expansion of Ace’s presence in this critical segment.”
