Turkish authorities have granted license for ACE to provide insurance and reinsurance coverage

ACE European Group (ACE), has opened a new branch office in Istanbul, Turkey, as it expands its operations across Central and Eastern Europe.

Turkey’s Under Secretary of Treasury has approved the license for ACE to provide insurance and reinsurance coverage for property and casualty, and accident and health. Turkish operation will be run by Ebru Gurtan.

Andrew Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ACE, said: We have continued to focus on strategic expansion across Europe and the Istanbul office expands our branch office network to 20 European countries. Behind this local expertise ACE can draw on its global network of offices covering more than 50 countries, enabling us to service both national and multi-national business for our clients.

The company said that it will provide a range of products in Turkey, such as accident, health and business travel, commercial property and liability, construction, engineering, energy, financial and professional lines solutions.
