ACE Bermuda has appointed Jeffrey Jabon as senior vice president of professional lines department. In his new role, Mr Jabon will take on management of department and will be responsible for development of the company's professional liability book of business. He will report to Rees Fletcher, president and CEO of ACE Bermuda.

The company has also appointed Philippe Bacon as new senior vice president, senior underwriter of professional lines department. In his new role, Mr Bacon will serve as a senior technical resource and will assist with the management of the professional lines business. He will report to Mr Jabon.

Priously, Mr Jabon worked as a management consultant to the insurance industry in New York, Boston, and Bermuda before joining the company. Prior to that he held senior underwriting and business analyst positions within American International Group in New York.

Prior to joining ACE Bermuda in 1992, he worked for Marsh Global Brokers (Bermuda), where he served as a D&O and E&O broker responsible for placing multinational risks.

Mr Fletcher, said: “Jeffrey’s leadership capabilities and underwriting experience along with his knowledge of the Bermuda market and international insurance industry position him well to lead the professional lines team. Given Philippe’s significant experience in professional lines at ACE Bermuda, I expect him to play a key role in helping to drive our business forward.”
