ACE USA has appointed Paul Cunney as vice president and practice leader for ACE USA’s Public Entity industry practice.

Cunney will manage ACE’s coordinated offerings for federal, state, county, and municipal governments, agencies and authorities, as well as the public education sector.

Cunney will report to Mitchell Schmidt, senior vice president and national manager of ACE USA’s Custom Casualty unit and will be based in New Jersey, US.

Cunney, with almost 20 years of expertise, joined ACE in January 2005 and most recently served as Vice President and National Product Manager for ACE USA’s Public Officials and School Leaders, and Errors & Omissions (E&O) products.

ACE’s Public Entity Practice providers insurance coverage pertaining to general liability, primary auto, excess liability, public officials’ liability, school board legal liability, miscellaneous professional liability, and environmental liability.

The group also offers companion products, on an individual risk basis, such as construction wrap up, builders risk, multinational casualty, and accident & health.
