Ace USA, the US based retail operating division of the ACE Group, has appointed Bryan Tedford as new senior vice president to lead field operations and Foreign Casualty division.
Based in New York City, Tedford will report to Kenneth Riegler, president of ACE USA Foreign Casualty, and president, Multinational Client Group, North America, and he will be responsible for national field operations.
In this role, Tedford will lead a team of underwriters in 18 cities, to deliver solutions to clients across all nine ACE USA regions. He will also oversee relationship management, sales, marketing and production, staff management and regional operations.
With more than 22 years of experience in property and casualty and the accident and health arena, Tedford will join ACE from Chartis, where he served as commercial lines manager in Central Europe as well as in the Commonwealth of Independent States region. Prior to this, he served as regional manager of Chartis’ UK Southeast Region, from 2006-2009.
Riegler said that Tedford has an extensive background in international insurance and cross-functional team management. His experience will enable the company to continue to meet the unique needs of US based, mid-sized, large, and multinational clients that do business globally.
