ACE will soon inaugurate a new office in Aberdeen before the end of 2012 as part of its continued strategy to enhance service for UK regional brokers and clients.

According to the underwriter, the branch will be ACE’s 12th in its UK and Ireland region and second in Scotland, with nearly 200 employees already based in its Glasgow offices.

ACE Aberdeen branch will facilitate the delivery of services to brokers and clients based in the region, ensuring easy access to locally empowered decision makers.

ACE regional president UK and Ireland David Robinson said, "The move to open an office in Aberdeen is in response to broker demand and demonstrates our continued commitment to offer underwriting and service capabilities in key areas of both geographical and competitive strength for ACE."

ACE regional manager for Scotland Andy Macfarlane added, "In particular, a local presence and access to enhanced local knowledge will allow us to provide our broker partners in the northeast of Scotland with an improved level of service and demonstrates our commitment to further building our business in the region."

The new office will service all lines of business and trade sectors within the region, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector and clients with expanding overseas operations.
