The global insurance group ACE has shuffled its senior management team within the Southern Europe.

As per the changes, Maurizio Ferrario, previously country manager for ACE Italy, will assume the new position of senior advisor, with a focus on sales and distribution in support of ACE’s Italian customer segmentation strategy.

In addition, Ferrario will support specific sales and distribution initiatives at the broader European level.

Angel Diaz, previously country manager for ACE Iberia, will assume the newly created position of regional manager, ACE Southern Europe.

Based in Madrid, Diaz now has additional responsibility for ACE Italy. A successor to Ferrario as local country manager for ACE Italy, based in Milan, will be made in due course and will report to Diaz in his new regional capacity.

ACE Continental Europe president Joseph Clabby said these changes represent a significant investment in ACE’s leadership team for the region and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to future growth in Italy and our wider presence in Southern Europe.
