The ACE Group has appointed Brad Bennett as president of its Combined Insurance Company of America business unit to support the company’s development.

Bennett will lead the agency-based sales arm of ACE’s global personal accident and supplemental health insurance business.

He will be responsible for all management aspects of insurance business, which has branches in US and Canada as well as eight countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

He will report to Ed Clancy, ACE’s Executive vice president, Global Accident & Health and Life and will be based in Glenview, Bennett succeeds Douglas Wendt, who is retiring from the company.

Before joining to ACE, Bennett served as a president and CEO for AIG Korea from 2009 to 2011and was responsible for agent and small broker development for 26 countries as Senior Vice President of Agency and Branch Operations.

Previously, Bennett served as COO and the Head of Distribution for the Chartis Companies Japan.
