ACE Group, a provider of insurance and reinsurance, has appointed Graham Chesman as new multinational claims client executive for the ACE European Group.

In this new role, Chesman will provide leadership and co-ordination within Europe for the claims service offering and delivery to all multinational clients for the ACE Group, reporting to Peter Murray, claims director for ACE European Group and senior vice president claims for ACE Overseas General.

Chesman will work closely with ACE’s multinational business leaders and claims management teams to ensure that claims capabilities are developed in line with business needs.

He will also have a key role as the central claims contact point for global multinational initiatives across the ACE Group regional network.

Chesman has worked at ACE for 31 years, most recently in the role of UK & Ireland claims manager. He has 36 years experience in the insurance industry and over the last 28 years he has held a number of both technical and general claims management roles.

Murray said Graham has been a real asset to the claims team. He has a deep understanding of the needs of our customers, the criticality of service delivery and the key importance of effective communication with all involved stakeholders and business partners.

"Graham brings considerable experience of handling complicated multinational claims to his new role, which will be critical as ACE’s reputation as a leading global carrier continues to grow," Murray said.
