Insurance group ACE has appointed Shankar Krishnan as new regional casualty manager for its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) business.
Krishnan will be based in the company’s Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), reporting to Steve Dixon, regional managing director for ACE MENA.
He will joins ACE from Chartis in Dubai, where he was the branch manager responsible for the management and business development of the company’s Dubai operations.
Krishnan has more than 15 years experience of the casualty market in the MENA region, having previously held underwriting and management positions throughout UAE and India.
ACE MENA regional managing director Steve Dixon said his appointment further builds presence in the DIFC where the group has underwriters located close to the local market, reinforced by access to the resources of global network of offices in 53 countries worldwide.
