The Accident Fund Insurance Company of America has appointed James Agee as its new chairman of board of directors.
Mr Agee succeeds Charles Burkett who served as chairman since June 2004. Mr Agee, who has served on Accident Fund’s board since 2004, is the president of JG Agee Consultants.
Previously, he was the first vice president of public finance at Banc One Capital Markets and served as superintendent and principal within Muskegon Public Schools.
Mr Burkett, who remains on Accident Fund’s board, is the retired administrative director of Michigan Farm Bureau. He formerly served on the board for Blue Care Network, and was formerly chairman of the board for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
