Accenture has introduced an enhanced version of its claims management software platform, claim components (release 10.2), to assist property and casualty (P&C) insurers to process claims more quickly and efficiently.
Accenture Software for P&C Insurance global managing director Michael Jackowski said that with contemporary functionality of the updated version will help solve the issues faced by carriers on a daily basis.
"Speed to market is critical today and our new claims release improves implementation and configurability from an architectural and process standpoint, allowing smoother workflow and faster claims processing," Jackowski added.
The upgraded version features enhancements in configuration flexibility in core functional areas to enable insurers to streamline processes.
Additional features include a single claims folder, multiple claims formats, enhanced data tools, precise claims history as well as enhanced workflow navigation and improved channel configuration capabilities.
When integrated with Accenture Duck Creek Policy Administration, Claim Components provides most powerful and comprehensive integrated P&C software suites for insurers of all sizes.
