Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) and the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) will jointly offer MEBAA Aviation Insurance Scheme (MAIS) to the MEBAA members starting 15 November 2011.

ADNIC has worked with selected international reinsurance partners and reinsurance brokers WILLIS Aerospace to provide a tailor made reinsurance package aimed at providing the most preferred terms and conditions for MEBAA members’ aviation insurance requirements.

The coverage under preferred insurance scheme also includes Hull & Spares All Risks, Third Party and Passenger Liability, Premises Liability, Products and Hangar keepers Liability, Crew/Passengers Personal Accident/Loss of License and Hull & Spares War and Allied Perils.

MEBAA founding chairman Ali Al Naqbi said the agreement marks the culmination of five years of effort to secure a credible insurance package for regional operators that offers an attractive value proposition.

"MEBAA is committed to create new opportunities and resources to support the growth of business aviation in the Middle East, and the introduction of the MEBAA Aviation Insurance Scheme (MAIS) marks yet another significant step in our ongoing efforts to improve risk and liability management within our industry," Naqbi said.
