US based insurance brokerage ABCO Insurance Agency is offering supplemental home insurance policies to cover those products that were not implemented into their existing homeowner’s insurance policy.
The move is the result of huge amount of damage that occurred due to hurricane Sandy.
Buying the supplemental insurance policy will allow the client to receive coverage for valuable articles/floater policies for things including jewelry and family heirlooms.
The company is also offering umbrella policy, an additional liability insurance scheme, which protects a homeowner financially if they are penalised for a large amount of money.
The supplement also allows clients to add flood insurance to their policy, to cover the amount of damage to homes that aren’t considered to be in a flood zone.
