Lloyd’s Syndicate A G Dore & Others Syndicate 2526 has introduced a new accident and health (A&H) portfolio for the brokers in the UK.
The portfolio will underwrite personal accident and sickness, as well as travel and medical expenses for both commercial and consumer customers.
The new A&H team is made up of two ex-QBE underwriters, which include line underwriter Mark Gibson.
Gibson holds 19 years experience as an A&H underwriter and manager with QBE European Operations, ACE European Group and Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
Joining him will be James Glover, who served as A&H underwriter with QBE European Operations, ACE European Group, Compass Underwriting and RBS Insurance.
Gibson said, ”Distribution for the portfolio will consist of both Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s entities for the first year.”
